Spiral interpolation (CW)
Commands G2.1 and G3.1 provide such an interpolation that the starting and ending points are connected smoothly for an arc command where the radii of the both points differ from each (Normal circular interpolation) Ending point (Spiral interpolation) Ending point Starting point rs Commands G17, G18 and G19 are used to select a plane for motion control. Registering the three fundamental axes as parameters allows you to select a plane generated by any two non-parallel axes. Use these G-codes to select the plane for the following: - Circular interpolation - Nose radius compensation - Polar coordinate interpolation - Chamfering - Positioning for fixed cycle operation - Corner rounding/chamfering
G02.1 is modal (group 01) — it stays in effect until another code of the same group replaces it.
