Cross machining control axis selection

Machine-specific. This G-code reference is specific to the Mazak INTEGREX e-670H / e-670H-S with the MAZATROL SmoothX control (EIA/ISO programming manual H747PB0030E). G-code availability depends on fitted options, and groups and behaviour differ between Mazak models and control generations — verify against the manual for your own machine before programming with any code.
What it does

Axis control of HD2 side by HD1 side or that of HD1 side by HD2 side is referred to as cross machining control. Cross machining control axis is specified by G110 and G111. Specify after G110 an axis address and the HD number controlling the axis. G110 X_ Y_ Z_; ............................. Cross machining control axis and HD number are specified. G111; .............................................. Cross machining control axis specified by G110 is returned to normal control (not cross machining). G00 X10. Z10.; X of HD2 moves to 10, Z of HD1 moves to 10. G00 X20. Z20.; X of HD2 moves to 20, Z of HD2 moves to 20. G110 X1 Z1; Changed to X-axis and Z-axis of HD1 G00 X30. Z30.; X of HD1 moves to 30, Z of HD1 moves to 30. Specify the Z-axis for the lower turret as follows: G110 Z2; Selection of the lower turret’s Z-axis G00 Z100.; All the Z-axial commands between G110 and G111 are processed Specify the C-axis on the 2nd headstock side as follows: G110 C2; Selection of the 2nd headstock’s C-axis G00 C45.123. G110 is modal (group 20) — it stays in effect until another code of the same group replaces it.
