Workpiece coordinate system rotation
Machine-specific. This G-code reference is specific to the Mazak INTEGREX e-670H / e-670H-S with the MAZATROL SmoothX control (EIA/ISO programming manual H747PB0030E). G-code availability depends on fitted options, and groups and behaviour differ between Mazak models and control generations — verify against the manual for your own machine before programming with any code.
What it does
The function refers to rotating the workpiece coordinate system around the position of the specified machine coordinates. The machining program can be rotated in its entirety as required for the actual inclination of the workpiece.
G92.5 is one-shot (group 00) — it is valid only in the block where it is entered.

Address words
- x, y, z : Coordinates of the rotational center.
- The position along the two axes of the previously selected XY-, ZX-, or YZ-plane must be designated in
- machine coordinates.
- The designation for an axis not corresponding to the plane will be ignored.
- r : Angle of rotation.
- Designate the rotational angle for the coordinate system. A positive value refers to a counterclockwise
- rotation.
- i, j, k : Axial component vectors.
- The angle for coordinate system rotation can also be designated in axial component vectors
- corresponding to the previously selected plane.
- The designation for an axis not corresponding to the plane will be ignored.
