EIA/ISO bit settings (8 bits)

Machine-specific. This parameter list is specific to the Mazak INTEGREX e-670H / e-670H-S with the MAZATROL SmoothX control (manual HA64HA0035E). Other Mazak models and control generations use different addresses, ranges and meanings — verify on your own control before changing anything.

  1. bit 0

    Current position display in the G52.5 coordinate system

    Tool offset in the current position display in the G52.5 coordinate system 0: Do not consider 1: Consider * This parameter is valid for automatic operation and virtual machining, but not valid in tool path check.

  2. bit 1

    Automatic M-code setting in EIA/ISO program modal restarting mode

    M-code displayed as search results in EIA/ISO program modal restarting mode 0: Do not set automatically 1: Set automatically (up to six M-codes preceding immediately)

    Range 0, 1 · Takes effect: Immediate

  3. bit 2

    Automatic S-code setting in EIA/ISO program modal restarting mode

    S-code displayed as search results in EIA/ISO program modal restarting mode 0: Do not set automatically 1: Set automatically (immediately preceding S-code)

    Range 0, 1 · Takes effect: Immediate

  4. bit 3

    Error check function in cases where numerical data is omitted in the EIA program or in MDI mode

    0: Invalid 1: Valid Example : If numerical data is omitted, such as “G90G0X”, alarm 807 ILLEGAL FORMAT is displayed.

    Display of the chuck and tailstock areas for an EIA/ISO program on the TRACE or TOOL PATH CHECK display

    Whether or not the chuck and tailstock areas are to be displayed for an EIA/ISO program on the TRACE or TOOL PATH CHECK display 0: Not displayed 1: Displayed

  6. bit 5

    Touch sensor offset in X/Y direction

    Offset in the XY direction at the time when the tool offset of the touch sensor is specified by the G43P1 command (tool length compensation for a turning tool) for geometry offset X/Y on the TOOL OFFSET display 0: Invalid Only the Z-axis offset is valid. 1: Valid The X-/Y-/Z-axis offset is valid. Geometry offset Z (tool length)

  7. bit 6

    Number of effective decimal digits in the tool axis vector components (I, J, K) for tool tip point control type 2 (G43.5) and cutting point command type 2 (G43.9)
