Q: What does Mazak parameter K247 do?

K247 is a Machine parameter in the MEASURE group of the MAZATROL SmoothX control (INTEGREX e-670H). Involute interpolation permissible acceleration. Sets the maximum acceleration permitted in involute interpolation to clamp the acceleration. The feedrate in the tangential direction can be clamped to maintain the acceleration within the value set for this parameter. Note : When this parameter is set to 0 or a value outside the setting range, the involute acceleration/deceleration clamp function is disabled and the feedrate in the tangential direction becomes constant regardless of the curvature radius.

Machine-specific. This parameter list is specific to the Mazak INTEGREX e-670H / e-670H-S with the MAZATROL SmoothX control (manual HA64HA0035E). Other Mazak models and control generations use different addresses, ranges and meanings — verify on your own control before changing anything.
