Q: What does Mazak parameter K248 do?

K248 is a Machine parameter in the MEASURE group of the MAZATROL SmoothX control (INTEGREX e-670H). Involute interpolation minimum feedrate. Sets the minimum feedrate permitted in involute interpolation to clamp the acceleration. When the lower limit for the clamping feedrate is set for this parameter, the feedrate in the tangential direction is adjusted so that it does not go below the lower limit. Note : 1. When a value outside the setting range is set, 0 is assumed. 2. This parameter is valid when K247 > 0.

Machine-specific. This parameter list is specific to the Mazak INTEGREX e-670H / e-670H-S with the MAZATROL SmoothX control (manual HA64HA0035E). Other Mazak models and control generations use different addresses, ranges and meanings — verify on your own control before changing anything.
