Q: What does Mazak parameter K85 do?

K85 is a Machine parameter in the MEASURE group of the MAZATROL SmoothX control (INTEGREX e-670H). Special linear acceleration/deceleration time constant for threading. If the setting of K85 is from 1 to 300 ms, this setting will be used as the linear acceleration/deceleration time constant for the G32 threading block. If the setting is outside the valid range, however, the normal linear acceleration/deceleration time constant for G01 will be used.

Machine-specific. This parameter list is specific to the Mazak INTEGREX e-670H / e-670H-S with the MAZATROL SmoothX control (manual HA64HA0035E). Other Mazak models and control generations use different addresses, ranges and meanings — verify on your own control before changing anything.

If the setting of K85 is from 1 to 300 ms, this setting will be used as the linear acceleration/deceleration time constant for the G32 threading block. If the setting is outside the valid range, however, the normal linear acceleration/deceleration time constant for G01 will be used.
