Q: What does Mazak parameter L99 do?

L99 is a Machine parameter in the TABLE group of the MAZATROL SmoothX control (INTEGREX e-670H). Cycle time for saving the operational status management data. Specify the cycle time at which the operational status management data for the day is to be saved as a file on the hard disk. Note : 1. If the setting is 0, the data will be saved each minute. 2. If the setting is –1, the data will be saved only when the date changes or when NC power is turned off.

Machine-specific. This parameter list is specific to the Mazak INTEGREX e-670H / e-670H-S with the MAZATROL SmoothX control (manual HA64HA0035E). Other Mazak models and control generations use different addresses, ranges and meanings — verify on your own control before changing anything.
