Q: What does Mazak parameter S28 do?

S28 is a Machine parameter in the ANOTHER group of the MAZATROL SmoothX control (INTEGREX e-670H). Center of the workpiece to be directly mounted on the table of the machines equipped with an additional table. For graphics on the VIRTUAL MACHINING display, set with machine co- ordinates of the rectangular axes, the center of the workpiece to be directly mounted on the table of the machines equipped with an additional table. Note : This parameter is only used when multiple material pieces can be arranged on the display in question (F35 bit 0 = 1). Use parameter S25 to set the center of the additionaltable’s upper surface.

Machine-specific. This parameter list is specific to the Mazak INTEGREX e-670H / e-670H-S with the MAZATROL SmoothX control (manual HA64HA0035E). Other Mazak models and control generations use different addresses, ranges and meanings — verify on your own control before changing anything.
