Q: What does Mazak parameter S6 do?

S6 is a Machine parameter in the ANOTHER group of the MAZATROL SmoothX control (INTEGREX e-670H). Absolute position detection parameter. When movement is beyond the length set by this parameter during the power off, it activates the alarm mode. If 0 is set, no alarm occurs.

Machine-specific. This parameter list is specific to the Mazak INTEGREX e-670H / e-670H-S with the MAZATROL SmoothX control (manual HA64HA0035E). Other Mazak models and control generations use different addresses, ranges and meanings — verify on your own control before changing anything.
