Q: What does Mazak parameter SU26 do?

SU26 is a User parameter in the SYSTEM group of the MAZATROL SmoothX control (INTEGREX e-670H). Chopping axis selection. Set the chopping axis by specifying its axis name. This parameter specifies the chopping axis when no chopping axis is set by the system variable for the chopping start M-code command. * If this parameter setting is changed after the machine is started, the change will become valid after resetting operation.

Machine-specific. This parameter list is specific to the Mazak INTEGREX e-670H / e-670H-S with the MAZATROL SmoothX control (manual HA64HA0035E). Other Mazak models and control generations use different addresses, ranges and meanings — verify on your own control before changing anything.
