TAPE bit settings (6 bits)

Machine-specific. This parameter list is specific to the Mazak INTEGREX e-670H / e-670H-S with the MAZATROL SmoothX control (manual HA64HA0035E). Other Mazak models and control generations use different addresses, ranges and meanings — verify on your own control before changing anything.
Bit settings — TAP26 is set bit by bit
  1. bit 0

    Data transfer of a paper tape program which has been punched by M2

    0: Tape loading impossible 1: Tape loading possible

    Range 0, 1 · Takes effect: At I/O startup

  2. bit 1

    Types of data to be punched onto paper tape during all punching

    0: All programs and various NC data 1: All programs only

    Range 0, 1 · Takes effect: At I/O startup

  3. bit 2

    Input/output of the program name during paper tape reading/punching

    0: Valid 1: Invalid

    Range 0, 1 · Takes effect: At I/O startup

  4. bit 3

    Number of digits of work No. output

    0: 8 digits 1: 4 digits

    Range 0, 1 · Takes effect: At I/O startup

  5. bit 4

    Input/output of material data during punching/reading

    0: Output of ASCII data in hexadecimal notation 1: Output in characters

    Range 0, 1 · Takes effect: At I/O startup

  6. bit 5

    Setup data to add when outputting an EIA/ISO program through tape I/O

    0: Do not add 1: Add

    Range 0, 1 · Takes effect: At I/O startup
