TAP9 is a Data I/O parameter in the TAPE group of the MAZATROL SmoothX control (INTEGREX e-670H). “[” code for paper tape reader/puncher for EIA. This parameter is used to set a hole-punching pattern for the character code “[” onto a paper tape reader/puncher using EIA. Set an eight-digit binary number in decimal form. E xample : (0 × 27)+(1 × 26)+(0 × 25)+(0 × 24)+(1 × 23)+(1 × 22)+(0 × 21)+(0 × 20) = 76

Machine-specific. This parameter list is specific to the Mazak INTEGREX e-670H / e-670H-S with the MAZATROL SmoothX control (manual HA64HA0035E). Other Mazak models and control generations use different addresses, ranges and meanings — verify on your own control before changing anything.
