Q: What does Mazak parameter TC35 do?

TC35 is a User parameter in the TURNING group of the MAZATROL SmoothX control (INTEGREX e-670H). Lower limit for thrust ratio. Sets the lower limit for the ratio of the workpiece pressing thrust for CHUCK and BAR units. If a value smaller than the one set for this parameter is set for the CHUCK or BAR workpiece pressing thrust of the workpiece transfer unit of a MAZATROL program, the alarm 402 ILLEGAL NUMBER INPUT will be generated. If the workpiece pressing thrust specified for #3030 in an EIA/ISO program, the alarm 1144 MISSING TRANSFER (PUSH THRUST) will be generated.

Machine-specific. This parameter list is specific to the Mazak INTEGREX e-670H / e-670H-S with the MAZATROL SmoothX control (manual HA64HA0035E). Other Mazak models and control generations use different addresses, ranges and meanings — verify on your own control before changing anything.
