Q: What does Mazak parameter TC79 do?

TC79 is a User parameter in the TURNING group of the MAZATROL SmoothX control (INTEGREX e-670H). Minimum cut depth clamping value (radial value) in thread cutting unit of MAZATROL programs. Clamping will follow the setting of TC79 if the calculated value of the cut depth with the threading unit is smaller than the setting of TC79. This parameter is valid only for the infeed operation of the fixed-area scheme. * For EIA/ISO programs (fixed cycle) refer to SU106.

Machine-specific. This parameter list is specific to the Mazak INTEGREX e-670H / e-670H-S with the MAZATROL SmoothX control (manual HA64HA0035E). Other Mazak models and control generations use different addresses, ranges and meanings — verify on your own control before changing anything.
