Q: What does Mazak parameter US43 do?

US43 is a User parameter in the DISPLAY STRUCTURE group of the MAZATROL SmoothX control (INTEGREX e-670H). Automatic determination of cutting conditions Tool nose radius when tool data is not input (BAR, CPY, CORNER, FACING). When determining “FR” automatically using the automatic cutting condition determination function, determine the condition by using US43 as the tool nose radius if “NOSE-R” is not input for the specified tool. Enabled when a “BAR”, “CPY”, “CORNER” or “FACING” unit is selected. Note : US43 is enabled only when US1 bit 1 = 1.

Machine-specific. This parameter list is specific to the Mazak INTEGREX e-670H / e-670H-S with the MAZATROL SmoothX control (manual HA64HA0035E). Other Mazak models and control generations use different addresses, ranges and meanings — verify on your own control before changing anything.
